But if the critics are right 2010's Remember Me won't be a classic like Ray-Ban's Wayfarers. Its troubled young lovers and coming of age plot just didn't make the same impact as the Wayfarer when the sunglasses hit the streets and screens back in 1952.

It has been said he is looking for his Rebel Without a Cause and of course the iconic figure of James Dean loved a Wayfarer to match his rock-rebel style, so the Brit actor is in good company.
