Tom Cruise wears Oakley Split Jacket in MI4

Prepare to say hello to Ethan Hawke (Tom Cruise) again folks as MI4 Ghost Protocol is coming to cinemas this December. We’re suckers for fight scenes and explosions – we’ve seen all 3 films and so are very excited about this release. Even more exciting is the fact that our favourite agent dons Oakley Split Jacket in the trailer.

Assuming you know the back story, we’ll skip over the excellent story-telling, action, suspense or death defying stunts and move onto the sunglasses. Such action filled adventure calls for excellent eyewear and in MI4 excellence comes in the form of Split Jacket. Oakley specifically developed its O Matt frame to fit Tom’s face exactly. In addition to an interchangeable lens system, laser cut foam gaskets have been added making the eye sockets 100 percent airtight (it was originally to be used in a sandstorm). Unfortunately has no plans to release the special prop piece. But a similar frame can be created within our custom area.
