Miu Miu

Born in 1992, Miu Miu is the by- product of fashion powerhouse, Prada which was created by Mario Prada and his brother Martino. Initially a male orientated business, Mario Prada did not believe that women should have a role outside of the home. Ironically, Mario's son had no interest in the business, so it was his daughter Luisa Prada who took the helm ofPrada as his successor, and ran it for almost twenty years. Fast forward to 1970 and Miuccia Prada joins the helm, eventually taking over in 1978.

In 1992, Miuccia Prada created Prada’s baby sister, Miu Miu’s. The diffusion line was created with the fashionable, young and creative in mind. Since its launch the brand’s collection of directional and sophisticated designs have become a failsafe go to, season upon season for high end wardrobe staple for the fash- pack and screen starlets alike. Fans include Victoria Beckham, Kirsten Dunst and Lindsay Lohan.
