2013 is the Year of the Snake in the Chinese tradition of the zodiac. Italian high jewellers Bulgari are taking the occasion to celebrate its own famous relationship with the serpent.
Between February 9th and 28th Bulgari's Fifth Avenue store will show an exhibition of its iconic serpent inspired jewellery including archive pieces. Bulgari: the Serpenti collection showcases one of its most famous creations and its incarnations over the decades since the first of the bracelet watches in the forties. The New York flagship building is decorated with its own huge stylised Serpenti lit up in bright white mimicking sparkling pave diamonds.
