Lou Collins, Bio

Born: 19th March, 1981
Home: Nottingham, UK

British triathlete Lou Collins rowed until she was 13 but after becoming bored of rowing she joined the local tri club just to help keep fit. She’d always enjoyed swimming running and cycling. She proved to be very competitive and got the triathlon bug.

Her proudest moment was finishing first in my age group at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. It was an exhausting race and Lou had to overcome problems with her bike, but she never gave up, crossing the finish line ahead of the rest.
