Spanish tennis pro Nicolas Almagro is an Oakley watch fan and known for his powerful game and playing on the edge of his emotions. Almagro had been a highly rated junior for many years, finally realising his potential in 2005. He played in the main draw of 3 out of 4 slams, and when he defeated Marat Safin 6–4 6–3 in Rome, Almagro had his first victory over a top 10 player. He has strengthened his position within tennis’s top 50, but his results have remained inconsistent.

Almagro is a clay-court specialist and has achieved his best result in a Grand Slam when he reached the quarter-finals of the 2008 French Open. His style is that of an offensive baseliner.
